OUR PEOPLE
GENERAL MANAGER

Captain Bill Houghton, Director of Flight Operations, has over 30 years of flying experience. Bill has held numerous key management positions with charter and scheduled air carriers throughout Canada.

Teamwork, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence continue to be the driving forces behind the growth and success of REGIONAL 1. It is the commitment and enthusiasm of each REGIONAL 1 employee that fosters our continued success. Each employee contributes his or her own exceptional skills, knowledge, and experience in performing the daily work that moves us into exciting new areas, while maintaining operational excellence in ongoing support to the airline industry.
I believe that continuous improvement is very important to our organization. In order for each one of us to be better tomorrow than we are today, we must recognize the need for and aggressively pursue change where it is required. We must continuously improve as individuals and as an organization to maximize the value we provide to our customers, while enriching our lives, meeting our commitments to family and community, and ensuring REGIONAL 1's long-term viability.

CHIEF PILOT

Captain Luc Picard, our Chief Pilot, has over 14,000 hours of flight time. Captain Picard's Airline and Corporate flying experience is worldwide covering; North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Aviation encompasses a complexity of diversified disciplines, professions and equipment. Unless adequate skills and required know-how is harnessed properly to operate efficiently, the return on the vast resources and investments will not be optimal. Recognizing that human resources are the most valuable assets in any organization, a decision to invest in training is a top priority.

At Regional 1 we care about your comfort and safety.

Your safety is of vital importance to us. Hence, we lay great emphasis on the training of our pilots, so that your favorite airline is also your safe airline.

Your comfort comes right up with safety.

Luc Picard

Passenger care responsibilities
The main and always primary duty of a flight attendant is for safety but they also provide a customer service on board our flights.
